An improved Gacha Club experience
Like most Gacha Club-inspired games, such as

, Gacha Plus follows the same basic premise. You get to style up your
virtual avatar
and socialize with other people. You can also earn
in-game rewards
by joining various
Mini-Games
and
Battle
events, which allows you to unlock more content. Additionally, players can create scenes through the game’s
Studio Mode
.
As mentioned, this game is a
standalone mod
. While it builds upon the original game, this is a separate download that
does not require the original
Lumine RPG game. In terms of content, it retains all backgrounds, costumes, and accessories available from the original. It even
adds a lot of original material
, all of which are created in higher resolution.
While it is definitely an improvement over the original, Gacha Plus still has its own set of issues. For one, it
adds a loading screen
between certain parts of the app, adding delay. For example, making small adjustments leave players spending more time with the loading screen than with the minor changes they made. Lastly, users have reported the app randomly freezing and crashing.
A definite must-try for Gacha fans
Gacha Plus earns a spot among fans who are only looking to
enjoy the original but with added customization options. It faithfully adapts the original gameplay experience, with
no new game modes
added or changed. This standalone mod only adds new backgrounds and customization options to allow players to personalize their virtual avatars even more. Aside from a few optimization issues, it’s a good entry to try.
