Meet the squad
As a
side-scrolling
beat ‘em up, Echidna Wars lets you choose your hero to engage in
hand-to-hand combat
against waves of opponents as you move between platforms. Four endearing characters make up the squad: the Valkyrie Miria, the demon Sachiho, the humanoid Usako, and the sole surviving android TGO-0.
Each character has a
backstory
and a
unique skill set
crafted to suit various playstyles. On the visuals side, the
platformer
features
pixelated graphics
that call to mind classic
arcade
games. Although the game is playable as it is, the addition of a narrative can make it even more engaging.
