If you've used streaming services before, the experience in Crackle won't be far off. When you first open the app, you will immediately land on the
Spotlight
section that highlights all currently popular movies and TV shows that are trending or watched the most. You can easily navigate to the

sections, though, using the hamburger icon on the top-left corner of the user interface.
Crackle's catalog is
divided into categories
for easier navigation. You will see them in rows as you scroll down its list of available content for watching. Alternatively, you can use the
search bar
up top to look for a particular title. When you pick one, you will proceed to a dedicated page that has more details about it, including a
synopsis
, cast, release date, and others.
As mentioned earlier, this is an ad-supported streaming service, and as such,
expect ads to pop up
now and then while you're watching. Just a few considerations before trying it out. First, videos are
capped at 480p SD
resolutions. Another is that its
library is limited
compared to others and it has been some time since it has seen any updates or new additions.
