Music and Aesthetics
The first thing you’ll notice about Absolute Drift is its unique graphics. Absolute Drift has a
minimalist aesthetic
featuring a primarily white environment. Unlike most racing games, Absolute Drift’s gameplay is presented in a top-down perspective instead of a POV or third-person perspective. The car you control looks small so you’ll be able to focus on your drifting skills around the arena. Personal preference will determine whether this minimalist aesthetic is good or bad. Some will appreciate the simplicity and cleanliness of the tracks while others will find the never-ending walls of red and white boxes to be too boring.

Despite its simple premise and aesthetics, Absolute Drift is not for casual gamers. There is no clear measurement of improvement and progress in this game. Instead, you’ll have to really hone your skills to become better and move on to the next levels in the game. If you ever decide to pick up this title, be prepared to spend countless hours and days just roaming around and practicing your drifting skills.
